People all over the world be it in the East or West, find it necessary to make New year’s resolution at the very end of the year. Why? For the simple reason that an individual decides to change a behavior, to accomplish a personal goal or to improve his or her life.

New year’s resolutions differ from person to person because each one of us is unique. For example an individual may decide to eat healthily, another may want to quit smoking or alcohol and another person can make a promise to help the needy and the list goes on never ending.

Resolution made by a person is unique and personal depending on the person shortcoming during the whole year and the desire to improve it the next year.

    1. You are welcome Lisa! I am happy you love the resolution number 14 because we cannot be indifferent especially to a child dying of hunger. Better be a doer and take action in the year 2018! Wish you and your family a Happy New Year 2018!

  3. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration and reminding me I should write my resolutions (or what I like to also call goals) for this year immediately!

You have some really great resolutions. Some of them are so great, I am going to have to add them to my list as well.

One thing I find is when people end up falling short of their resolution, they tend to just give up and can’t seem to get back on track. If you ever get off track, how do you get yourself back on?

    Kind Regards,

    1. Hi Yvette, you are right these are indeed great resolutions. When I was young I must admit  that I have failed many times to stick to resolutions! But with time, one grow more experience and mature. Moreover I am a model for my children and I have to guide them. So my resolutions are also for my family and I have already printed and pasted where everyone will see it! And most resolutions have already been implemented gradually in our daily life so there is no reason to get off track! And I also find it futile to put more than 15 resolutions where I may fail to implement them!

  4. Hey!
Great post and I love the ideas! I’m especially fond of #13: be satisfied with what you have. Sometimes we forget that just having a computer and being able to read articles like this is a luxury that millions of people don’t have. Thank you again, and I’ll make sure to make a list this year and put it where I see it every day. Keep it up and thank you for your article!

    1. Hi! You are welcome! I think no.13 is awesome because if you are satisfied with what you have, you will never be unhappy in life!

  5. Whenever we make new years resolutions, it usually tends to be cut down on the alcohol, change the diet, and join the gym.

So it’s great to learn about different life-changing resolutions that can be implemented instead of just the “norm”.

For me personally, I would like to change my mindset and avoid procrastination, become financially free, and also start helping those who can’t help themselves because you’re right, it gives you great satisfaction when doing a good deed.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

    1. Thanks Neil for dropping by! Of course each person’s resolution will differ from another one depending on each person’s priority in life! I am happy you are inspired and feeling motivated to make your own resolution! Wish you all the best in life.
